She Bu Vision

Apologies for lack of engagement this week but I have been as sick as a dog.

I have posted on Div Share (and emailed) my initial attempt at Policy and Bollocks - She Bu Vision. You will note that I have used 'the triangle' 'She Bu' and 'the area' interchangeably. We will have to come to a decision as to how we want to refer to our study area tomorrow. Despite my initial reservations I have come to like She Bu and it would certainly fit with our need to rebrand/reassert the area's identity - I would also pitch in with just perhaps calling it The Green.

In the outline, I have taken Thaddeus' view that our focus is the immediate triangle area, with the transport and access elements ensuring that we link to, and gain benefit from, the surrounding areas. I have tried not to talk in too much detail about each of the areas of intervention as 1 - I was not in last week to find out what the results of everyone's exploration into particular interventions was and 2 - that the strategy/policy bollocks should just string together the interventions that we have agreed on.
